Information we collect
We collect information you provide through our website contact forms, the start-a-project questionnaire, Facebook or Instagram lead forms, email, phone enquiries or other direct communication. This can include your name, business, contact details and any project information you choose to share. Generating a project brief happens in your browser. If you attach it to a free consultation request, we receive the brief with your enquiry.
When you use the start-a-project questionnaire or request a free hour of web development and consultation, we may also record campaign tags, advertising click identifiers, the page you first arrived on and the page that referred you to us. These details help us understand how you found our website.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiries, discuss your project needs, provide the services you request, improve our communication and keep business records of our work and conversations with you.
Services we use
We use third-party services including hosted contact forms, Elfsight for displaying Google reviews, Zoho Mail for business email and payment-related services. When you submit the start-a-project questionnaire or request a free hour of web development and consultation, our website sends your answers to us through Zoho Mail and emails a confirmation with your submitted details, including any attached project brief, to the address you provide.
We use session replay hosted on our own server to understand how visitors use our website. It records page paths, clicks, scrolling, browser and device categories, referring domains and named enquiry events. Input values and private enquiry and project-brief content are masked before being sent. We do not send recordings to an external replay provider. Recordings are available only to our administrator and kept for up to 30 days, or less when our storage limit is reached. An anonymous identifier in your browser's session storage connects pages within a visit; it is not used to identify you across visits.
Recording respects your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences. You can also . This preference uses a cookie lasting one year and does not disable the other services described here.
On our free consultation page, we use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and completed requests and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta receives browser and device information, the page address and advertising identifiers, including those stored in cookies. We send a request identifier when your enquiry is accepted, but do not include the name, email address, business name or project details you enter in these advertising events. Automatic event collection and advanced matching are disabled on this page.
Enquiries through Facebook and Instagram
If you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, we record your enquiry in Google Sheets so we can contact you and follow its progress. We may share lead identifiers and updates about your enquiry with Meta, including whether your project is a suitable fit and whether you become a customer, to measure and improve our advertising.
How we keep your information
We may keep your enquiry details in our business email records and, for Facebook or Instagram form enquiries, in Google Sheets. This helps us respond to you, discuss your project and keep a record of our conversations.
Our start-a-project and free web development enquiry forms keep temporary technical records to prevent spam and duplicate submissions. They do not store your submitted answers in a website database; those answers are sent by email as described above. When you bring a brief into the consultation form, its code is kept in that page’s browser history entry so it can be restored if you reload. We clear it from that entry when you remove the brief or successfully submit your request.
